AS&T’s Team for the SeaPort-e MAC include the following contractors:

Advanced Sciences and Technologies, LLC (AS&T) a small business, was established in December 2005 for the purpose of providing continued high quality technical, administrative and engineering support services to our long-term FAA, commercial and DOD clients as a small business. The principals of AS&T have well established and demonstrated experience in successfully providing quality and cost effective support to our clients for over twenty years. AS&T’s technical understanding of our customer’s mission, has established a reputation with our customers and our employees as a management team fully capable of developing and maintaining organizations that provide our customers a no-risk option for superior engineering and technical support services. AS&T has been awarded thirty-four (34) contracts in excess of $135+M since beginning operations in March 2006 and has current monthly revenue in excess of $1.3M. These contracts have positioned AS&T with a staff of hundred (100+) full time engineers and support professionals. Over two-thirds of our staff possess degrees in related engineering/technical disciplines and average over fifteen (15) years of directly related engineering experience. The work performed on these contracts is for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Department of Defense (DOD), and Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/United States Coast Guard (USCG).. Currently AS&T has six (6) offices, our corporate office located in Berlin, N.J. has a Top Secret security clearance that was approved by the Department of Defense – Defense Security Services (DSS).

Apex understands today's IT environment, its governing body, and lifecycle sustainment. Apex’s principal has 25 years of leadership and management experience in USCG, DoD, and corporate America Information Systems and Information Technology Program and Project Management. Their focus is on IT/Information System (IS) projects and the processes that are specifically aimed at National Policy compliance and efficiently performing the business of the organization.

Carter Systematic Solutions, LLC (CSS) is a SDVOSB certified by the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE). CSS provides customers with program/project management, systems engineering and integration support, research, requirements definition, operations research analysis, human performance analysis, curriculum analysis, and development of training and education products, including full motion video and Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI).

Old Dominion University (ODU) and ODU Research Foundation are the Administrative and Financial Agent for ODU for the National Centers for System of Systems Engineering (NCSOSE). NCSOSE is a university Enterprise Research Center of the Batten College of Engineering and Technology at ODU in Norfolk, Virginia. The NCSOSE mission is to develop, disseminate, and put into practice methodologies and technologies grounded in systems theory and focused on decision making for multidisciplinary problems. NCSOSE's primary objective is to advance the body of knowledge and state-of-the-art related to solving multidisciplinary problems. It supports development of practical solutions and directs applied research addressing multidisciplinary problems; provides high-quality information resources for those who make decisions, influence policy, or are charged with integration of systems of systems; and provides training and education in systems of systems engineering.
