Advanced Sciences and Technologies (AS&T) was established in December 2005 for the purpose of providing continued high quality technical, administrative and engineering support services to our long-term FAA, commercial and DOD clients as a small business. The principals of AS&T have well established and demonstrated experience in successfully providing quality and cost effective support to our clients for over twenty five years. AS&T has an established reputation with our customers and our employees as a management team fully capable of developing and maintaining organizations that provide our customers a no-risk option for superior engineering and technical support services.
Advanced Sciences & Technologies is an engineering services company that is led by an executive team with more than 100 years of combined engineering experience.
Mr. Frank Valenti has over 30 years experience in engineering services and has been a Principal and Sr. Vice President and COO of a successful small business. He has also held the position of Division President with a Fortune 500 company, L-3 Communications, with a strong record of success with P+L, operations and growth.
Mr. Edward King, with 30 years experience, has held senior level executive positions with a small business engineering services firm and two Fortune 500 companies, Raytheon, and most recently, as Division Vice President with L-3 Communications. Demonstrated success in organization development, business growth and customer and employee relationships.
Mr. Bruce Raphelson has 22 years in Software Systems Engineering, Software Development, and Integration, Test, & Verification working on US Navy, FMS, and USCG Programs. He has held leadership positions on these programs and holds a BS & MS in Computer Science from Drexel University.
Mr. Ken Hartnett has 20+ years of experience in all phases of the system life cycle for Battle Management, Command and Control, Communications and Intelligence (BMC4I) systems, C4ISR Systems, Coast Guard (Deepwater) Systems, Fire Control Systems, Air Traffic Control Systems and Simulation Systems. He is a DoD certified Enterprise Architect and is currently Chief Architect and System of Systems IPT for the Coast Guard's Deepwater System of Systems.
